Epson SureColor SC-T3400 is a 24” technical printer which has been designed primarily to print CAD, GIS, and technical drawings but is equally capable at printing stunning posters for marketing agencies and graphic designers. Key features – pigmented inks, borderless printing, and life time print heads

A stand out feature compared to rival HP machines is the availability of pigmented inks across the whole colour range and not just pigmented black ink. This provides the printed media with significantly better outdoor durability and fade resistance from strong light sources. The print is also smudge proof and can be handled as it emerges from the machine.

Productivity is greatly improved as the Epson SC-T3400 features borderless printing. Staff no- longer have to manually trim the bleed area as the machine can print full width. This is especially useful when printing posters and other large format material where trimming is necessary. 

Unlike most competitor printers the SureColor SC-T3400 feature Epson’s latest generation piezo print heads, designed to last the lifetime of the machine and covered under manufacturer’s warranty.

Each print head has 800 black nozzles and 800 colour nozzles and deploys Unique Verification Technology (NVT) to help prevent misprints.

Print Quality

The printer deploys a 4 colour cartridge system - Black, Cyan, Yellow and Magenta - with the choice of either 110ml or 350ml ink cartridges. Print resolution is highly impressive at 2,400 x 1,200 dpi. Deep blacks with excellent definition are reproduced every time whilst the printer is just as capable at producing punchy vibrant prints.

Epson have managed to produce astonishing detail at unbelievable speed by precisely controlling the shape and volume of the ink droplets at a rate of up to 50,000 droplets per second.
