Epson SureColor SC-T3100 is a 24” technical printer which has been designed for end users such as architects or engineers who require CAD, GIS, and technical drawings. The printer is also capable of producing detailed and accurate drawings which suit a wider range of requirements that include marketing agencies and graphic designers. Key benefits – pigmented inks and life time print heads

A major differentiator to rival HP machines is the option of pigmented inks across the whole colour range (SC-T3100N) and not just pigmented black ink on competitor printers. This ensures the printed media produced by the machines has significantly better outdoor durability and fade resistance from strong light sources. If pigmented inks are not critical the SC-T3100x offers CMY dye and pigmented Black.

Unlike most competitor printers the SureColor SC-T3100 feature Epson’s latest generation piezo print heads, designed to last the lifetime of the machine and covered under manufacturer’s warranty.

Each print head has 800 black nozzles and 800 colour nozzles and deploys Unique Verification Technology (NVT) to help prevent misprints.

Print quality and speed

The printer uses a 4 colour ink cartridge system - Black, Cyan, Yellow and Magenta. Black ink is available in 50ml or 80ml cartridges; colour 26ml or 50ml. Print resolution is a highly impressive at 2,400 x 1,200 dpi. Deep blacks with excellent definition are reproduced every time whilst the printer is just as capable at producing dynamic colour prints.

A1’s can be produced in as little as 22 seconds.

To this end Epson focuses on minimizing environmental impacts and CO2 emissions across the entire product life cycle. The printer has been designed to be energy efficient in use but during its manufacture much attention has been paid to minimising its environmental impact. 
Harmful substances have been eliminated in its production and packaging has been kept to an absolute minimum. Epson also offers a choice of ink cartridge sizes that help to keep costs down, and are hassle-free to replace. All Epson ink cartridges are recyclable.
